Alfa Romeo Giulia of the Future by Vincent Montreuil

Independent French designer Vincent Montreuil is one of the many Alfisitis eagerly awaiting their beloved brand to come up with something special. To keep him occupied and perhaps to give Alfa Romeo some food for thought, Montreuil came up with these convincing renderings of a modern Alfa Romeo coupe.Fit for the 21st century, it's a front-engined rear-wheel-drive modern interpretation of the legendary 1960s Giulia GTA conceived as a 'sport and light coupe concept.'

Alfa is currently working on the carbon-fiber bodied mid-engined 4C supercar, which will signal their return to the US market in 2013-14, while the Giulia name has been earmarked for the 159 replacement, which has been delayed at least until 2014.In the meantime we have this designer's great rendering, which you can comment on at his website.
